Pending deletions sometimes 'get stuck' and conflict against re-creating the entities |
When entities are deleted they get made invisible to the end users and are slowly purged in background. When thousands are deleted, this can take many days.
Several times I've had 'stuck' deletions which have been pending for many weeks. Newer deletions just get queued behind these and never disappear. I don't know that it is happening and have to ask support if there are any and they can delete them directly.
I believe that there is information about when each entity was deleted. This may also be useful information.
