Inspire Batch: Provide Export AI-Generated Translation Content Before Save

How

In the Inspire Batch module, provide an option to export AI-generated translation content before it is saved to the system. On the final Review page, an Export button could be added alongside the existing Save All button, allowing users to download the generated translations for offline review.

Why

Translation content often requires review and approval from external stakeholders who may not have access to inriver or may not be familiar with the platform. An export capability would enable users to share AI-generated translations with reviewers prior to committing the content to the system.

This would support review and approval workflows by allowing stakeholders to validate the generated content externally. Once the review is complete, users can proceed with onboarding and save only the approved content into inriver, ensuring greater accuracy and reducing unnecessary revisions after publication.

Who Benefits

  • Content Editors

  • Translation Reviewers and Translation Centers of Excellence (CoE)

  • Product Owners

  • Business Users responsible for content onboarding and bulk content updates

Impact

This enhancement would streamline the translation review process by eliminating the need to first save content and then export it separately for external review. It would reduce manual effort, improve collaboration with reviewers who do not have inriver access, and enable validation of AI-generated translations before they are committed to the system, ultimately improving efficiency and content quality.

    Hi,

Thank you for the suggestion. We understand the value of sharing AI-generated translations with external stakeholders for review before saving them to inriver.

Currently, Inspire in Table View supports generating content in multiple languages and copying the results directly into a spreadsheet for external review, without first saving them to inriver. While this requires a copy-and-paste step, it provides a way to support the review process you describe.

We will consider a dedicated export option for Inspire Batch. In the meantime, we recommend using Table View for this workflow, as we are seeing more users adopt it for batch content generation and review.
