Add a new field to the Specification

How: Add a new field titled “Method” to the Specification section within our product data model.

Why: The “Method” field will capture the determination method for each specification item. This ensures that product specifications are documented with clarity and consistency, supporting accurate product information management.

For Who:

• Internal product data management teams maintaining specifications

• Business users who rely on clear specification methods for compliance and reporting

Impact: This is a low-impact change as it introduces a single new field without altering existing data structures.

• Field Type: CVL data type (consistent with other Specification fields).

• Reference:
