Login portal (the new UI)

Please, fill in the below fields to enable the processing of your idea.

Who would benefit?

All users (especially us partners that have access to a lot of environments

What impact would it make?

Less frustration at login

How should it work?

When logging in to the new portal, it's pretty annoying to need to scroll to find the environment that I want to log in to.

It's a lot of empty space above the section "inriver environments" (that contains all the environments), so it would be nice if that section could be moved up a bit.

It seems like it is attached to the bottom of the web browser window as it is right now.

Why is it needed?

Make it easier for the users to log in and remove annoying extra scroll. A better use of the space in the web browser window

    Hi Nicky

    Thanks for this update.

I agree that it now looks better when you have the scrollbar for the entire window instead.. But unfortunately the view is still messy for us partners. And from time to time the sort order is changed (by some reason), so it always adds unnecessary frustration and time to look for the correct environment among all visible ones.

I like the idea of grouping them by customer. And also by environment "type/usage" as Dev, Test and Prod within the customers. And also great if there were an option to hide/show or minimize/expand the views, because not all environments are used on a frequent basis.

    Hi Nicky,

Seems better, but still not ideal. I ended up solving it with some scripting instead to fit my needs.
I have attached a screenshot of how mine looks today with customer names replaced.

The main idea is to have the environments grouped by customer, and have them be in order "Dev", "Test", "Prod" rather than alphabetical like it is today.

Often times one is not working on all customers at once, so a view where we can minimize customer views to me seems as a cleaner solution.

Hi both , I tested this today and the experience is much improved. Would you agree? or are you still frustrated by ux?

I have been quite frustrated with this as well. I get what they're trying to do for normal users, but for partners that have multiple enviornments on multiple customers, it's annoying and uneccessary.
I have created a Firefox add-on that reverts the UI to what we had before the update. It can be found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/inriver-ui-fixer/

I also have a version for chrome/edge, but haven't had the time to upload it to the extension market. I can share the zip file that can easily be imported, should anyone be interested :)
