In a digital Storefront, a node in the taxonomy tree should be hidden until product data is connected to the node

Who would benefit?

Users should not see nodes in the taxonomy tree in a digital Storefront if the node doesn't contain any data. If the node has not yet been linked to any data there is no value in showing the node and it would result in an empty search result if selected.

What impact would it make?

Users would be prevented from seeing nodes that are not yet "live" and connected to any product data.

How should it work?

Apply logic to the taxonomy tree so that nodes are automatically hidden if they do not contain any linked data underneath.

Why is it needed?

We want to be able to prepare nodes in the taxonomy tree without them being visible in the digital Storefront until product data is connected to the node.
